YARN

We offer different kinds of yarn, which is why we categorized them into three: fiber type, thickness, and brand. Feel free to explore what we have and hopefully you find the yarn that you want. This is also a good way for you to know more about the varieties of yarn.

a.       By Fiber Type

We have yarn made up of different kinds of fiber: acrylic, cotton, luxury (silk, cashmere, alpaca, angora, etc.), mohair, wool, and others (polyester, nylon, rayon, viscose, etc.). Knowing your fiber does not only give you an idea of the texture of the yarn; it also helps you figure out the best use for the yarn (i.e. for clothes, afghans, doilies, stuffed toys, etc.).

b.      By Thickness

We followed the standard yarn weight system for this category and have the following types from thinnest to thickest (lace, fine, light, medium, and bulky). Just like knowing the fiber type, knowing the yarn thickness can also help you figure out the best use for the yarn (i.e. for clothes, afghans, doilies, stuffed toys, etc.). It is also a great gauge for yarn substitution.

c.       By Brand

We offer different brands from the Philippines and from around the world.
